Unconditional Love

Unconditional love is a beautiful thing. Without having this type of love in our lives that we would surely die. Many have already heard of the studies done on babies who were separated from human contact at an early age and many of them actually died. This was obviously a very tragic case, however it provides proof that humans need love around us to survive and "more than enough love" to thrive.

Since moving to LA, I have spent a lot of time working with kids. Something I have noticed about kids is that they are truly and 100% themselves. They will express that they need a lot of love from parents, care takers and other people around them. The reason why we feel this from children so strongly is because children are not ashamed to ask for what they want and need. As we become adults, social and other influences at times make us ashamed to ask for what we need on an emotional and even sometimes physical level. I don't think the needs we have as children ever really go away. We simply learn how to become more independent and take care of ourselves so we don't depend on others. However as much as we don't need others for certain things, it is important to allow yourself to depend on others for various things and love is one of them.

I am not afraid to admit that I need love in my life. I envision myself having so much love around me that I cannot even see straight. This is success in my book :)  BUT for those of you who don't already know this, the best way to live with love around you is to give tons and tons of love! I plan to give out tons of love in the New Year and I reckon you do too--  Because there is no better way to live!
